# ⚡ Points, Levels & Talents

Every order you place at Distro earns you XP. XP builds your level, levels earn you talent points, and talent points buy real perks like discounts, cashback and better allocation odds. No subscriptions, no paywalls. You shop, you level up, the good stuff opens up.

### 💰 How you earn XP

It could not be simpler: **£1 spent = 1 XP**, added automatically the moment your order is paid.

* XP never expires and your level never goes down.
* Everything you buy counts, except allocation draws you enter but have not won yet (you earn the XP when you actually buy the product).
* Your XP and level live on your [Levels & Points page](https://distro.gg/points).

### 🪜 The ladder

There are **50 levels**. The first ten come fast, your first £1,000 with us takes you all the way to Level 10, with your very first order almost certainly popping Level 2. After that each level asks a little more, all the way to the summit: **Level 50 at £75,000 lifetime spend**. A badge of honour if ever there was one.

### 🎯 Talent points

**Every level earns you one talent point** — hit Level 12 and you have 12 points to play with. Spend them on your [talents page](https://distro.gg/points) across two trees:

* **🗡️ Cunning** — sharper prices. Order discounts, bonus XP on every order, real-money cashback paid in pounds, free delivery perks and free gifts.
* **🔮 Foresight** — the collector's edge. Better odds in allocation draws, game specialisms (Pokémon, Magic, Lorcana) and delivery upgrades.

A few things worth knowing:

* Perks apply **automatically** at checkout. Spec into Haggler and every order is simply cheaper; spec into Kickback and cashback lands on your account when you buy.
* There are more talent ranks in the trees than points you can ever earn, so every build is a choice. Discounts or draw odds? Your call.
* Changed your mind? You can **reset your talents** and respend every point, once every 30 days.

### 🎟️ Levels and allocations

Hard-to-find products are released as **allocations**: you register interest, and a weighted draw picks who gets to buy. Your level is the single biggest factor in that draw. Higher level, better odds. It is never a guarantee and lower levels always keep a real chance, but the more you have shopped with us, the more the odds tilt your way.

* Entering an allocation requires **Level 2 or above** (some products set a higher bar, shown on the product page).
* Foresight talents like **Market Watcher** and **Allocation Shark** stack extra percentage points onto your draw odds.
* Win a draw and the unit is reserved for you for **5 days**. Buy it in that window or it passes to the next person in line.

### ❓ Quick answers

**Does my XP/Level expire or Reset?**&#x20;

Never. XP is lifetime.

**Can my level go down?**&#x20;

No. Levels only climb.

**Do refunds affect XP?**&#x20;

XP is only awarded once an order is successfully paid and fulfilled. If an order is refunded because we could not fulfil it, no XP is earned.

**Is VAT included?**&#x20;

Yes, XP is based on what you actually pay, VAT and all.

**Where do I spend talent points?**&#x20;
